2017 Applications are now OPEN!
Applications are now open for Travelling Fellowships for 2017, so please do have a look at their website to see the 15 categories, including new ones – Enterprise, Migration – living well together, Medical Practice & Education, and Nursing & Allied Health Professions.
Do you know anyone who you think would make a great Fellow?
If you do, please tell them about the Fellowship and encourage them to apply.
On 20th June they will be launching ‘Fellows’ Fortnight’. During these two weeks they will be asking for your help to encourage others to apply for a Fellowship. They will be busy on social media and online – featuring inspiring Fellows’ stories and sharing tips about how you can spread the word to others about the benefits of a Fellowship. Please do join in! More to follow soon…
Also, if you can think of any organisations who would benefit from hearing about what they do, please let them know your ideas and they can contact them directly.
They will be concluding three partnerships this year – starting with Communities that Work with the Rank Foundation in June.
Fellows’ collective findings in this area will be drawn together into a report, ‘Building Better Communities through Global Learning’, which will demonstrate their ability, both individually and collectively, to instigate positive change – from grass roots level up to influencing policy.
Findings from the Creative Ageing partnership, with the Baring Foundation, and Prison Reform with the Prison Reform Trust will follow later in the year.
New area on their website
This week they have launched a new section of their website called ‘Learning and Practice‘. This area features the Fellows’ reports library, and showcases ‘Communities of Practice‘ – curated content drawn from the Fellows’ findings in specific fields of interest, and based on topics which are of concern to the UK today.
